Hey everyone. The brothaman is back on the blog. I know it’s been awhile. I’m chilling in my new digs at the DSR shop in Brownsburg. They got me a desk next to my boy TY, so it’s nice and easy for us to do these blogs. I can talk and he can type.

It’s been kind of busy lately, so I apologize for taking so long to do an update. After Pomona and the award’s banquet, I flew to Louisiana with my family for a nice, long Thanksgiving break. Along with some R&R, I had to get in some racing. This time with my RC boats and the brothaman did alright. I was racing with my boy Tommy D, the crew chief on Matt Hagan’s car. We both did pretty darn well. I won in LS Sport Hydro and XLS Sport Hydro, which is a modified class, and Tommy and I won the endurance race. It’s a 100-lap race. Our next boat race is in Florida in January. We’ll see if we can make it down there. Florida in January doesn’t sound bad for us Hoosiers.

We’ll, we’re all moved in at the DSR shop and our DSR Matco Tools team is hard at work on improving on a great 2009 season. We have a lot of motivation to win the Full Throttle championship in 2010. We’ve got a brand new chassis ready to go and we’ll have another new DSR car by the time we leave for testing in January. They have a lot of resources and great minds here at DSR that will only make our Matco Tools team even stronger.

It’s been good to get back to work this week and see all my boys after being in L.A. for Thanksgiving. All the guys had the week off too and they’re all refreshed and ready to go. There’s a lot going on. Let me tell you, the off season in drag racing is our busiest time. Brian, Mark, Rob Wendland, and I went over to the new IMIS show here in Indy yesterday. We’re not going to the PRI show this year. I think this IMIS show can grow into something pretty big. 

We’ll I’ve got some family stuff going on this weekend. We’re doing Disney On Ice with the family and my daughter, she’s growing up fast, is cheerleading at a high school basketball game this weekend too. I’ve got to get my sales plug in too.
