Bernstein is looking to go back to back on wins, and storm into his home track of St. Louis with a full head of steam.

Herbert hasn't been here this late for a long time and doesn't want to waste the opportunity.

It's a very good drag race but today, the Bud car is the fastest on the grounds. Brandon wins by about half a top fuel nose.

Strangely enough, 3 of the Vegas winners go back-to-back-to-back.

Hight is out of the gate first and never looked back to take his second consecutive win this year. Hight wins for the first time in Atlanta after being the runner up here the first two years he was here.

It's the Professor against his most famous student. This is Warren's 150th final round appearance.

It's been a great weekend for Warren with the Hall of Fame and all, but I don't think it's going to continue. GA has been much too strong.

Dead even lights and that's very bad news for Warren. As WJ did to so many other racers in the 90s and later, Greg simply drives away.

Congratulations to the entire Summit crew for one more dominating, no questions needed, performance.

Smith broke as soon as he let the clutch out and Stoffer with her second win of the season. She will leave here as the point leader.

4:27 p.m. and we're getting into the last set of finals.

What a tough break! Palmer evidently is leaking something and is shut off before he could stage.

As if that wasn't bad enough, Hernandez immediately blasts the tires when he leaves.

We're told that Palmer suffered a fuel leak.

Though I'm sure he would have rather raced for his win, Hernandez should be proud of his team susperior performance and consistency today.

Massey is 0-4 in final rounds, including earlier this year at Houston. Mercier has 1 National Event win, it coming at Maple Grove last fall.

Mercier takes the right lane. Massey can run right with Mercier but will have to pick up a bunch from his performance last round.

Massey breaks his final round jinx and takes home the Wally! Mercier had an exceptional light but started running into problems early in the run. Massey simply went straight down the track.

Top Alcohol Funny Car

White with the starting line advantage, but Manzo has the difference made up by the time they go by the Christmas tree and he blast on through for the win. This is the 12th time Manzo has won this event and with this win he has more won one event more than any other driver has won one event.
