Final Round

dixon holds a 24 to 18 advantage over Schumacher in head to head match ups, but Schumacher holds a six to four advantage when they race in the finals. Dixon is out of the gate first, Schumacher is able to chase him down just past the 330-foot mark and blast on through for his 36th career win. Capps holds a seven to five overall advantage against Burkart and this is the first time they have met in a final round. This was a good drag race with Burkart getting a slight starting line advantage, but from there on it was all Capps. Capps with his best pass of the day and just a tick off his qualifying time. This is Capps' 23rd win in 46 final rounds. He is back in the winner circle for the first time since Englishtown last year.

Pro Stock

Morgan is not the underdog one would think. Remember he qualified right alongside Greg.

Larry leaves on GA but by 330 he's skating around pretty badly and finally pushes in the clutch and throws the chute out.

Anderson continues his string of 211 mph runs, just as if they were easy. For the Summit team this weekend, they were.

Congratulations to Greg, Rob, Jason, and the rest of a very fine team.

Pro Stock Motorcycle
Final Round

Stoffer's last win was at Maple Grove last year. She is the first 16th qualifier to reach the finals since 2003.

Smith is 3-1 against Stoffer. Four of his 6 finals have been against women.

It's another classic battle with the high RPM Suzuki against the big inch twin.

And Karen wins three of her four rounds on holeshots, including the most important one.

5:47 p.m. and the Pro Mods were ready to run. Unfortunately, Tony Schumacher scattered some oil and parts in the right lane on his way to winning the event.

It's a throwback race of classic musclecars - Cuda vs Camaro. Of course, I'm not sure that either car was produced with a blower injector hat reaching as high as the car's roof.

5:51 p.m. and we get the OK.

Just like every other race in the class this weekend, this race will depend on reaching the maximum grip of the track without going over.

Hernandez takes the right lane.

Josh hammers the tree and Troy is shaking violently trying to catch up. It's over almost immediately.

Top Alcohol Dragster

Meyer with the starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. Meyer gets his first National event win since Englishtown 2005 and he now has three wins in five final rounds. Randy Meyer's MOV: 0.0214 seconds (approximately 9 feet). Reichert with his quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort.
