As the result of a run posted at the Division 2 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Gainesville Raceway, the following horsepower adjustments have been made. These changes are effective immediately.

Due to a 1.490-under run in BF/S, NHRA has increased the horsepower rating for the 1989-91 Dodge Spirit, Chrysler LeBaron, and Plymouth Acclaim 153 150-152/165 by six horsepower to 171. This represents a 3.25 percent increase.

The 2004 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.40-second or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase.
