VP remains NHRA's Official Racing Fuel

NHRA has announced an agreement making VP Racing Fuels the Official Racing Fuel of NHRA Championship Drag Racing through 2006. With the agreement, VP will be the exclusive on-site supplier of racing gasoline at all NHRA national events. In addition, VP will provide ongoing technical support. As the official supplier, VP also supplies fuel for all NHRA Lucas Oil Series divisional events as well as NHRA Summit Sport Compact events.

"VP Racing has been a valuable partner of NHRA providing fuel for the race teams that generate the most horsepower in all of motorsports," said Gary Darcy, vice president marketing for NHRA. "We are pleased to extend this relationship through the 2006 racing season, based on VP's proven ability to supply a quality product and invaluable technical support."

Fred Morrison, VP's President and CEO, was excited about the extension. "We couldn't be happier about continuing our relationship with NHRA," Morrison said. "As most people in the industry know, VP Racing is and always has been solely focused on racing. Our mission is to help build racing to be even bigger and better. So our association with the industry's preeminent sanctioning body makes us very proud and it's a responsibility we take very seriously."

VP Racing has been making the best fuels for motorsports since 1975, currently producing more than 50 unique blends. With these blends, VP has fueled champions in virtually every racing category and class – from drag racing, circle track and road racing to motocross, off-road, off-shore, and even airplane racing.
