Grubnic's car dedicated to Mac Tools distributors and consumers

Race fans attending this weekend's 35th annual Mac Tools Gatornationals will see a new design on David Grubnic's Top Fuel dragster. Grubnic will be paying tribute to the Mac Tools distributors and customers with a special Mac Tools "Customer For Life" logo.
The "Customer For Life" emblem was created to represent Mac Tools' commitment to building lifetime relationships with its distributors and consumers.
"Mac Tools is relentless in our devotion to total customer solutions," says Rosie Pulaski, marketing manager for Mac Tools. "We are driven by customer insights to provide quality product, innovative solutions, and unparalleled service to our distributors. Bringing this commitment together with the spirit of drag racing makes this car one of the most exciting tributes we have ever done."
This will be Grubnic's first Gatornationals event with his new team, but "Aussie Dave" should never be counted out. Right out of the gates in Pomona, Calif., Grubnic piloted his Kalitta Air Top Fuel dragster into the No. 5 qualifying spot with an impressive 4.521-sec., 315.49-mph run in the last session, his personal best. He followed that effort up with a No. 1 qualifying charge in Phoenix with another career-best pass of 4.486 seconds at 324.51 mph. Grubnic is currently fourth in the POWERade points.
"Mac Tools does so much for our entire Kalitta Motorsports team," Grubnic said. "My team is absolutely thrilled to carry the banner of their new 'Customers For Life' program in Gainesville. This program is a perfect example of Mac's commitment to their distributors, consumers, and our team."
Grubnic and his teammates, Doug and Scott Kalitta, will hit the track Friday to try to power the dragsters to the top of the qualifying ladder.
