GM racers will meet fans at Super Summit XII

6/2/2004
Greg Anderson
Tim Wilkerson

The 12th annual Super Summit car show will host a two-hour GM Racing autograph session beginning at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 5, at Summit Racing Equipment headquarters in Tallmadge, Ohio.

Defending NHRA Pro Stock champion Greg Anderson, Summit Racing's Mark Pawuk, Ohio native Ron Krisher, ACDelco Chevrolet driver Kurt Johnson, and Chevy Monte Carlo Funny Car driver Tim Wilkerson will be the GM competitors on hand to sign autographs and talk with race fans at this Saturday's open-house event. Additionally, Top Fuel driver "Aussie Dave" Grubnic will be in attendance along with his newly-adorned Summit Racing Equipment Top Fuel dragster, which he'll campaign at the national event.

The GM Racing autograph session at Summit Racing Equipment headquarters is a precursor to a flurry of activities in conjunction with the 40th annual Pontiac Excitement Nationals presented by Summit Racing June 10-13 at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio, just 30 minutes east of Columbus.

In addition to the autograph session, the best street machines, sport compact cars, muscle cars, street rods, and sport trucks will be on site at Super Summit XII for a show-and-shine competition. There will also be a manufacturer's midway loaded with great deals and top performance manufacturers.

Super Summit XII will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Summit Racing Headquarters is located at 1200 Southeast Avenue in Tallmadge, Ohio, just east of downtown Akron, off of I-76 at exit 29. Admission is free.
