Indianapolis, pre-race: Frank Pedregon will make his return to Funny Car racing in the Worldvision Marketing/Underdog Racing Firebird this Labor Day weekend at the 50th annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals. The team is anxious to get on the track and show just what they are capable of doing.
"I would not have had this opportunity to get back on the circuit without some help from friends," said Pedregon, who won this event in 1999. "I would like to tip my hat to them and thank them for all they have done and the true sportsmanship they have shown. Underdog Racing has worked very hard putting together a winning team and we're all extremely excited. Teaming up with Underdog Racing has increased my ability to compete beyond my expectations. So all I can say is look out."
