Hunter aims for Indy success
Indianapolis, pre-race: The excitement grows with each passing day in preparation for the 50th annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals for the Lucas Oil/Team Tigue Pro Stock Suzuki team.
Since switching to a different chassis prior to the Brainerd, Minn., event results are steadily improving and the team hopes that trend will continue this coming weekend in Indy.
"After our best qualifying effort to date in Memphis I am looking to improve again and am definitely ready to start winning rounds on elimination day," rider Chip Hunter said.
In his rookie season, qualifying for seven of eight events contested, Hunter is really looking forward to racing at his hometown track.
"For years I have been a spectator at the U.S Nationals and to be fortunate enough to be racing this weekend is a dream come true," Hunter said. "Especially since this is my hometown track and lots of friends and family will be in attendance."
