Bazemore is on and off the throttle at least three times, but can't get the car to hook up. This is a big upset here. Toliver lost traction around 200 feet and pedals it a couple times and gets it to hook. Medlen was on and off the throttle and got out of the groove and hit the half track cones giving the win to Toliver. (W) Tony Bartone (K&N Filters Firebird) 0.160 5.074 265.33 (L) Gary Scelzi (Hemi Oakley Stratus) 0.127 6.757 135.35 Scelzi was first off the starting line and pedaled it one time, but by then Bartone was by him and on his way to the win. He started mixing up cylinders around 900 feet and the engine let go with a big fireball around 1100 feet. Force was able to hold on for the win. Burkart bang the blower just before the finish line and sent the body burst panel flyin high into the air. Cruz will give up lane choice to Wilkerson, Force will have lane choice over Bartone, Johnson Jr. will get to pick his lane against Lee, and Worsham has lane choice over Toliver.

They leave together and then around 200 feet Wilkerson's chute deployed and he motors on through the quarter mile with the chute fully deployed. Cruz lost traction around 330 feet and when he pedaled it he must of lost a blower belt because he didn't appear like he was able to get back on the throttle. Wilkerson used his lucky round here. He was not able to get it to hook back up and Lee took the win. Lee with a good tune up for this tricky track was straight down the groove. This was a great drag race. Force with the starting line advantage and the lead all the way down the 1320. He took the win light by about 10 feet. Force has a 37-12 advantage over Worsham in head to head match ups. They each have four final rounds against each other. Worsham with the starting line advantage and has the power to hold on for an eight foot win hole shot win.
