Both Mike Edwards and Rickie Smith started their NHRA Pro Stock careers here at this event in 1982. Usual close Pro Stock race. Both cars shook pretty hard but it's Edwards taking the 3 foot win.

Fairly close lights but Connolly has problems with shake and clicks it early. Morgan takes the win in the Dodge.

It's not over for the field yet but it might as well be. Anderson is just dominating the show at the moment and it appears that it will take a mistake on his part to knock him out this weekend. He has lane choice over Morgan in the other semi-final.

Father and son math up here in the semi. Dad hammers the kid on the tree then outruns him as well.

WJ is 92-54 in final rounds while Anderson is 16-11. Anderson has also won the last three in a row: Dallas, Las Vegas and the Finals here. This was over on the starting line. WJ was late and there is no way you're going to run down Anderson. Another low 6.7 for Anderson and he picks up the 2004 season right where he left off in November.
