Lane Weber, Mark Butler, Vinnie Cicerale, and Brian Johnson laid claim to bracket racing's biggest prize when they outlasted the field in their respective categories at this year's NHRA Summit Racing Series National Championship, contested during the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Pomona.

Division 5 ace Weber took Super Pro honors by defeating Division 2 runner John Wooley in the final. Butler, racing for Division 1, got the better of Division 2 rep Derek Putnam in Pro.

Cicerale made his tow from New Jersey pay off when he defeated Division 3 champ Jeff Seither in the Sportsman final. Johnson added another Motorcycle title for Division 5 by outlasting Ricky Cook, who was representing Division 2.
