NHRA adjusts policy for single class contestants

3/19/2003

The NHRA Competition Committee has announced a change to NHRA's policy regarding single entrants in class eliminations at NHRA national events. Super Stock and Stock racers who are not challenged during class eliminations by a like-classed racer must run a minimum of .5-second under the class index during class eliminations or qualifying at the event to be eligible for a class win and associated awards.

This change will go into effect at the NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals in Las Vegas April 3-6.
