Atlanta's ESPN Zone to host NHRA Night Of Champions

NHRA fans in the Atlanta area will have the rare opportunity to meet and get autographs from all four NHRA POWERade champions during the NHRA Night of Champions at the ESPN Zone Atlanta.

On Thursday, May 1, from 7-9 p.m., all four of the 2002 NHRA POWERade champions will participate in a meet and greet autograph session for NHRA fans in attendance. The event is being held in conjunction with the start of the 23rd annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals, May 1-4, at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga. The $1.4 million race is seventh of 23 events in the $50 million NHRA POWERade Drag Racing series.

Top Fuel champion and defending event winner of the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals Larry Dixon, Funny Car icon and 12-time series champion John Force, two-time Pro Stock champ Jeg Coughlin, and three-time champion Angelle Savoie will all be in attendance. Local radio station 96 Rock will have a remote location at the Zone
