Good ol' drag race here, as Yates takes his time staging, gets the holeshot, but can't hold off Morgan.

Corvo didn't start his burnout until Anderson was already backing up from his, but it doesn't seem to affect Anderson. Unlike the other higher qualified cars, Anderson chooses the right lane...and resets the track e.t. record. He will pick his lane against Krisher.

Edwards shows the kid how it's done at the Tree, but Line has enough horsepower to take the win. He will have lane choice over Morgan in the second round.

Morgan with the holeshot, but a couple of wiggles cost him dearly and Line drives around a holeshot for the second straight round.

Lastor got out of shape and shut it off. Johnson keeps the KISS streak alive, as the three KISS cars are undefeated so far. He will have lane choice over Line in the semi's.

This is the fifth time in nine career starts that Connolly has raced Jeg, and Jeg is 4-0. Make that 5-0, as Coughlin overcomes the holeshot to win a close one.

Anderson is just the fourth driver in NHRA history to win 60 rounds in a season. Make that 61, as he Trees Krisher and runs low e.t. of the round. He'll pick his lane against Jeg in the semi's.

For the third straight round Line give up a bit at the Tree, and this time it cost him, as KJ rolls into the final.

Anderson switched lanes after watching his teammate go down the left lane. With a win over Jeg, Anderson can tie the Pro Stock record for round wins in a season. Anderson is 6-3 against Jeg in 2003.

Anderson is 8-4 against KJ in his career. More importantly, he is 4-0 in finals, with all of those wins coming this year. These two have been the top two drivers in Pro Stock all year long. By the way, the NHRA record for round wins in a season by a professional driver is 65, set by John Force. Anderson has 62 coming into this round. Also, a win by Anderson would tie Darrell Alderman for the most event wins (11) by a Pro Stock driver in one season.

Another awesome performance by Anderson, as he overcomes the holeshot and wins for the 11th time in 2003, and sets both ends of the track record in the process.
