Alderman makes it to second round
Chicago, Sunday: Three-time POWERade Pro Stock World Champion Darrell Alderman advanced to the second round of eliminations today. The 28-time NHRA national event winner defeated a red-lighting Mike Edwards in round one, before falling to Anderson in round two.
"We spun the tires a little bit on that run," Alderman said. "I'm pleased because we're back on track though. The car feels pretty good again and (Roy) Johnson is making pretty good horsepower out there."
