Brainerd Int’l Raceway
Brainerd Int’l Raceway, which has hosted an NHRA national event since 1982, is where race teams traditionally gear up for the biggest race of the year, the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals. Located in the heart of Minnesota’s recreation area, it’s the perfect place for racers and their crews to regroup before heading to Indianapolis. Last year, retiring Kenny Bernstein beat Larry Dixon in the Top Fuel final for the last win of his career, and John Force recorded his 10th Funny Car victory at the event when he defeated teammate Gary Densham. Jeg Coughlin Jr. won Pro Stock, and Geno Scali won Pro Stock Bike for the first time, on a Kawasaki, the first for that make in 10 years.
