Bristol, Friday: Larry Morgan, driver of the Mopar Parts Dodge Stratus R/T, welcomed legendary crew chief and mechanic Bob Glidden to the fold this week. Despite the new set of eyes, Morgan failed to crack the top 16 with a 7.022-second elapsed time at 196.85 mph.
"I'm sure happy that he joined the team," said Morgan, about his long-time friend. "He sure helped me a lot when I won last year and I'm hoping for big things this year. I think we'll be okay. We tested really well in Atlanta this past week but it hasn't really translated to this track yet."
