MONTGOMERY, Ala. - In the final results of the NHRA Southeast Division Race of Champions Brent Montgomery, Lee Neal, Randy Larson, Mike Gill and Adam Davis all scored wins in their respective categories.

In the Super Pro final, Northwest Tennessee Motorsports' Brent Montgomery of Palmersville, Tenn., took out hometown runner Hugh Meeks of Wetumpka, Ala., racing for the Montgomery Motorsports Park team.

Scoring the victory in Pro was Lee Neal of Oakland, Fla., racing for Moroso Motorsports Park. Neal took out Northwest Tennessee Motorsports', Terry Rumley of Huntington, Tenn.

Racing for Bristol Dragway in the Pro Bike category, Mike Gill of Elizabethton, Tenn., took out Southeastern Int'l Dragway's Michael Wilson of Tallapoosa, Ga.

The Sportsman Race of Champions victory went to Moroso Motorsports Park's Randy Larson of Pompano Beach, Fla. He took out Music City Raceway representative Leon Robertson of Nashville, Tenn. The win was Larson's third in Race of Champions competition.

In the High School class, Darlington Int'l Dragway racer Adam Davis of Cullman Ala., took out Randall Slade of Waco, Ga., running for Southeastern Int'l Dragway.

Saturday's action will feature the highly regarded individual championships in Super Pro, Pro, Pro Bike and Sportsman. The victors in those categories will qualify to race at the NHRA Summit Racing Series National Finals, to be held at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals, November 7-10 at Pomona Raceway in Pomona, Calif. There they will complete for a "winner-takes-all" $5000 purse.

Gates will open tomorrow at 7 a.m. with eliminations set to begin at 9 a.m. Spectator admission for tomorrow's activities is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
