A/FD racer Myers inks deal with M.P. Filtri
07/23/2002
M.P. Filtri, one of the leading manufacturers of hydraulic filters and accessory products, will debut as a major associate sponsor on Mitch Myers' EPHA Racing A/Fuel Dragster at the 15th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Northwest Nationals in Kent, Wash., July 26 and continue through the remainder of the season.
Myers, President and CEO of EPHA, Incorporated, along with Jeffrey Mordas, Executive Vice President of M.P. Filtri USA, Inc., and Giovanni Pasotto, Managing Director of MP Filtri S.p.A. reached the marketing agreement which primarily will involve the distribution of EPHA's product line under the M.P. Filtri brand name as well as a major associate sponsorship of EPHA's motorsports program.
M.P. Filtri, based in Milan, Italy, is among the premier of companies with a worldwide distribution network and subsidiaries based in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Germany.
"We are proud to now have the MP Filtri name on EPHA Racing's A/Fuel Dragster," said Myers, team owner and driver. "Although M.P. Filtri is new to the sport of drag racing, high performance is nothing new as M.P. Filtri is a major sponsor of a world-class championship offshore power boat. This partnership will provide a new level of excitement for both companies as well as a wonderful stage for M.P. Filtri's launch of EPHA's product line in United States and beyond.
"Through ESPN's national television coverage and EPHA's appearances at the next six national events and three divisional events, people will soon realize the dedication EPHA and M.P. Filtri have towards a successful program, both on the track and off."
