15th Annual

Aug. 2-4
Infineon Raceway
Located in Sonoma Valley's wine country, Infineon Raceway has hosted the Fram Autolite NHRA Nationals since 1988. This year the race will be conducted on an all-new racing surface, surrounded by all-new amenities. Just moments after the completion of the 2001 event, bulldozers piloted by John Force and Gary Scelzi ripped up the old racing surface at Bruton Smith's facility in preparation for the rebuilding of this combination road course/drag strip facility. Last year Kenny Bernstein won Top Fuel here for the first time, Del Worsham won Funny Car for his third of four wins in 2001, and Tom Martino ended a three-year winless streak in Pro Stock with his only win of the season.
