11:38 AM Pro Stock is up first and I think this is going to be
very close.
The entire field covers only .044 seconds.  This looks to be the typical
Pro Stock
session as the entire field is separated by only .044.  Just as an
example the #32
qualifier was a 6.91. #1 was 6.81. Very close field.  Edwards gets the
light and
the win.   It's going to be tougher to run the big numbers as the air is
warmer and
the track is picking up heat.

Anderson wins the starting line but it's Warren at the other end

Osborne was really late and Morgan takes advantage.  Morgan loses

Yates runs low ET of the first round to this point and secures
lane choice
over WJ.

 (L) Ron Krisher (Eagle One '02 Cavalier)        0.474      6.838 202.88

Big upset here!  Krisher is all over the left lane at the hit and
Marnell
gets the win by a tad.  This is a tad: MOV: 0.0271 seconds
(approximately 8 feet).
The only thing that Marnell can't win on that pass is lane choice over
Edwards in
round two.

Hammonds and Allen are the first pair out for round two of Pro
Stock.
Hammonds is running a Krisher motor and has had a strong event.  Even
start and
Hammonds takes the win.

Marnell gets the win and will face Hammonds next round without
lane
choice.

Almost even start but KJ drives around Morgan.

Warren's crew, plus wife Arlene, pulled off a 23 minute motor
change between
rounds.  It's not enough as Yates gets the light and the ET for the win.
Yates
will face KJ next round with lane choice in hand.

2:31 PM Up comes Pro Stock.  Yates leaves just a tad on KJ then
proceeds to
out run him to each marker.

 (L) Tom Hammonds (Winnebago '02 Cavalier)       0.480      6.855 201.73

Marnell just ties Hammonds to the tree and leaves him behind.  His
third
holeshot win gets him a trip to the final and he will meet Yates without
lane
choice.  Choice shouldn't matter as in addition to the three holeshots
he's run in
the less wanted right lane.  Interesting.
