Glynanna Ham, the wife of former longtime Division 4 Director Dale Ham, died April 5. She was 76.
The Hams, who like NHRA itself recently celebrated their 60th anniversary, were among the earliest members of the NHRA family. Dale was named a regional advisor in 1954 and Division 4 director in 1961, a post he held until 1986.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Armanda “Mandy” Ham; sons, Sid and Brad Ham; brother, Jim Doche; three grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held April 9 at 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 1100 S. Harrison St. in Amarillo, Texas. Condolences may be sent to Dale Ham, 1613 Austin, Amarillo, TX 79102.
