Grubnic set for Atlanta Full Throttle appearance

Before David Grubnic straps into his Top Fuel dragster to vie for the title at the 32nd annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway this weekend, the popular driver will take time to discuss racing strategy with fans during a meet and greet on behalf of series sponsor Full Throttle Energy Drink.

On Thursday, May 3, the driver of the Candlewood Suites Top Fuel dragster for Kalitta Motorsports will sign autographs and greet fans from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Walmart at 30983 Highway 441 South in Commerce, Ga.

With the store’s proximity to the track as well as its inventory of Full Throttle Energy Drink and NHRA Originals T-shirts, Grubnic points out that Walmart is the perfect stop for fans heading to the race. Depicting a class front-engine dragster and the iconic NHRA Championship Drag Racing logo, the gray-heather-color men’s shirt is exclusively available at all Walmart stores nationwide.

"There is no better way to start the race weekend than by spending some time with the fans while representing our title sponsor, Full Throttle Energy Drink,” said Grubnic. “I can't wait to meet the great folks shopping at Walmart, and if they want to drop by and pick up one of those great NHRA nostalgia T-shirts, I’ll be happy to autograph it.

“I’m sure it’s going to be a great time, and hopefully, they will all join us and the other stars of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series in Commerce this weekend.”
