The champions of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series descended on Atlanta’s World of Coca-Cola Wednesday night for the annual NHRA Full Throttle Partnership Dinner, where those gathered for the evening celebrated 11 years of the company's combined POWERade/Full Throttle partnership with the sport.

Fourteen world champions attended the event hosted by Full Throttle Energy Drink and The Coca-Cola Company two nights before the 32nd annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals roars to life at nearby Atlanta Dragway. 2011 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series world champions Del Worsham (Top Fuel), Matt Hagan (Funny Car), Jason Line (Pro Stock), and Eddie Krawiec (Pro Stock Motorcycle) were among the evening’s honorees, which also included executives from NHRA, The Coca-Cola Company, and broadcast partner ESPN as well as past champions, their guests, and team owners.

The other past world champions in attendance were Greg Anderson, Hector Arana Sr., Jeg Coughlin Jr., Larry Dixon, Mike Edwards, Robert Hight, Andrew Hines, Cruz Pedregon, Tony Pedregon, and Tony Schumacher.
