Celebrate Father’s Day at Bristol Dragway with free children’s tickets

Fans of all ages love the Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals presented by Tri-Cities Area Ford Dealers, but kids now have one more reason to head to Bristol Dragway to share Father’s Day with their dads: free admission. In celebration of Father’s Day, Sunday’s Junior tickets (ages 12 and younger) will be free with the purchase of an adult admission ticket.

The promotion is limited to two free kids tickets per adult ticket. Junior-weekend-combo ticket prices have been lowered to reflect the free Sunday admission.

To take advantage of the offer, adult tickets for the event must be purchased by Thursday, June 14, at 5 p.m.

One of the most unique experiences in motorsports, the June 15-17 Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals presented by Tri-Cities Area Ford Dealers is the perfect Father’s Day activity. Bristol Dragway’s flagship event always is one of the most anticipated stops on the drag racing calendar among drivers and fans.

Not only can families celebrate Father’s Day in style, but they also can plan a summer vacation to include a trip to the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.

Every grandstand ticket also is a pit pass, which allows fans an up-close look at the crews as they tune the cars between rounds. Pit access also gives fans an opportunity to meet their favorite drivers, pose for pictures, and collect autographs.

Special adult ticket pricing also is available on Father’s Day Sunday, with several sections of grandstand seating beginning at just $20 in honor of the day.

Gates will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 15, with the first round of Pro qualifying slated for 5 p.m. The Pro cars will return at 7:30 for the exciting night qualifying round. Gates will open at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, with Pro qualifying set for noon and 2:30 p.m. Sunday’s action will kick off when gates open at 9:30 a.m., and final eliminations will begin at noon.
