2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series Awards Ceremony



The 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series Awards Ceremony took place Monday, Nov. 15, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in West Los Angeles and saluted the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series champions and other winners. Part 1 includes the introduction of NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series champion Von Smith, the Lucas Oil champions, and a welcome from Coca-Cola's Ben Reiling.

Part 2 includes the introduction of the 2 through 10 Full Throttle points finishers in Pro Stock Motorcycle (complete with video highlights for each) and season champion LE Tonglet as well as memorial salutes to Jeff Byrd and Dick Wells.

Part 3 includes the introduction by Full Throttle Senior Marketing Manager Chris Lopez and ESPN commentator Mike Dunn of the Full Throttle Hard-Working Crew Awards; the introduction by Full Throttle TV host Abby Tubbs of a compilation of clips from FTTV’s popular programming; the introduction of the 2 through 10 Full Throttle points finishers in Pro Stock (complete with video highlights for each) and season champion Greg Anderson; and the presentation of the Automobile Club of Southern California Road to the Future Award to LE Tonglet.
Part 4 includes a welcome from NHRA President Tom Compton and the presentation of a special award to Bruton Smith (accepted by his son Marcus) and the introduction of the 2 through 10 Full Throttle points finishers in Funny Car (complete with video highlights for each) and season champion John Force.

Part 5 includes the introduction of the 2 through 10 Full Throttle points finishers in Top Fuel(complete with video highlights for each) and season champion Larry Dixon.
