zMAX Dragway ramps up first-time-fan program
Friday, March 16, 2012

zMAX Dragway and Charlotte Motor Speedway are rolling out a first-time-fan program just in time for the Spring Season of Speed. Starting with the April 13-15 NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway, first-time fans will receive a special welcome kit designed to ensure that they have the best experience possible. First-time fans will also receive direct communication with tips from racing insiders, speedway staff, and other race fans to help them make the most of their race-day experience.

First-time fans will receive an invitation to a Racing 101 seminar on the event day that will provide additional information and the opportunity to ask questions directly of speedway staff. In addition, first-time fans will have access to a special concierge who can answer questions and provide additional guidance for the fan with limited NHRA or NASCAR experience.

Every first-time-fan welcome package includes a lanyard, hard card, decal, DVD, Fan Guide to Fun, special values, area information, and more. New fans are automatically enrolled in the program when they purchase tickets. Many sports venues have first-time-fan guides, but Charlotte Motor Speedway will take the concept to the next level with an entire program designed to ensure that fans new to the track have the best time possible.

The program is one of many initiatives started by Charlotte Motor Speedway to provide a race-day experience tailored to each fan’s needs.

Tickets start at just $99 for a three-day pass for the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals. For tickets and camping accommodations, call the speedway ticket office, 800-455-FANS (3267), or log on to www.charlottemotorspeedway.com.
