Lee ready to double down in Las Vegas and Pomona

McLeod Racing will team up with Funny Car driver/owner Gary Densham for the last two races of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series season with veteran driver and McLeod President Paul Lee at the wheel.

McLeod Racing will be the major sponsor for Gary Densham Motorsports at both the Big O Tires NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas and the season-ending Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals in Pomona.

"I'm excited to get back out to the track and hop in Gary's car for these last two races and, more importantly, proud to be associated with a great team,” said Lee. “Gary and his team are dedicated proven performers on and off the track, and McLeod and its employees have the same dedication when it comes to manufacturing the best clutches and driveline components in the automotive aftermarket. I'm happy that Gary let me have the ‘keys’ to his awesome hot rod! I hope that we can go rounds and put the McLeod Racing Charger in victory lane in Las Vegas or Pomona.”

Joining McLeod Racing and Lee as major associate sponsors for the two races are Boninfante Friction, Lawson Rock & Oil, and Dragzine.

In addition, the Gary Densham Motorsports Funny Car will be a feature vehicle on display at the 2012 SEMA Show, which starts Tuesday, Oct. 30, after the Las Vegas race at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The car will be in the McLeod Racing display at booth No. 22837.
