Hight scheduled for Full Throttle appearance before Las Vegas event
Tuesday, March 27, 2012

With back-to-back event wins in Phoenix and Gainesville this season, Funny Car driver Robert Hight is hoping to keep his hot streak going during this weekend’s SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Hight the day before the 13th annual race gets under way at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during an appearance on behalf of NHRA title sponsor Full Throttle Energy Drink.

On Thursday, the driver of the Auto Club Ford Mustang for John Force Racing, who also is the 2011 defending event winner, will sign autographs and greet fans from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Terrible Herbst at 4070 S. Arville St. in Las Vegas. The event will include free samples of Full Throttle Energy Drink, which will be distributed by brand ambassadors from 5 to 7 p.m.

“I am looking forward to spending some time with our great NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series fans on Thursday night,” said Hight, who is in second place, seven points behind teammate Mike Neff, in the Funny Car standings.

“My Auto Club team is off to a great start with two wins in a row, and I am looking for No. 3 in Las Vegas. I love racing at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and there is no better way to start the race weekend than by supporting our series sponsor Full Throttle Energy Drink.”

Fans attending this weekend’s SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals are encouraged to stop by the Full Throttle Energy Drink display, located near the entrance to Nitro Alley, for the ultimate race-day experience.
