NHRA and JEM Sportswear have announced that Shopko stores are now stocking the hugely popular NHRA Originals vintage T-shirts for men. This marks yet another expansion of the classic line of NHRA Originals vintage men’s T-shirts that debuted last fall.
“The NHRA Originals program has performed much better than expected,” said Gary Darcy, NHRA senior vice president of sales and marketing. “The amount of interest in the multiple designs is exciting, and we strongly believe that new designs and new retail outlets will be announced in the near future.”
Shopko operates 135 stores in 13 states: California (Northern), Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan (Upper Peninsula), Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Two NHRA Originals T-shirt designs are available at Shopko stores. One features the 1962 Nationals and depicts a nostalgia front-engine dragster and is available in a gray-crackle color. A second shirt, with a similar design, features a sunburst outline around the artwork and is available in navy.
Last fall, NHRA Originals launched in Target Stores nationwide and followed with the announcement earlier this year of subsequent distributions in Nordstrom and J.C. Penney. JEM Sportswear and NHRA will continue to roll out other designs and products through these and other retail outlets.
