Full Throttle Energy Drink prides itself on delivering hardworking energy. The USO provides support for America’s hardworking military men and women and their families. This common ground has led the organizations to join in an impactful partnership aimed at celebrating and honoring the efforts of our country’s military heroes.
The new collaboration will include custom USO-centric Full Throttle packaging and point-of-sale materials, co-branded traditional and digital media, and USO integration and experiential interactivity at Full Throttle’s NHRA event footprint.
To help inaugurate the project, Full Throttle will make a $250,000 contribution to the USO in a check presentation during the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals on May 5 in Atlanta. Fittingly, U.S. Army Top Fuel driver and seven-time world champion Tony “the Sarge” Schumacher was on hand to help make the announcement.
“Full Throttle is for the everyday hardworking men and women that need reliable energy,” said Eric Helms, director of marketing, Full Throttle. “There’s no better representation of that classification than the men and women in the armed forces, and for more than 70 years, the USO has provided unwavering support to them and their families. We’re excited to partner with such a terrific organization and look forward to joining their great cause.”
The mission of the USO is to lift the spirits of America’s troops and their families. When the USO was formed in 1941, Coca-Cola was the first to step up and help serve troops around the world, in battle zones, and coming home. The Full Throttle venture is the latest high point in a relationship that continues to prosper.
“Every day of the year, the USO works to provide our servicemen and women with the things they need most, such as comforts of home and a connection to their loved ones during lengthy deployments,” said USO SVP and Chief Development Officer Kelli Seely. “Partners like Full Throttle make it possible for the USO to lift the spirits of troops and their families. We are grateful for Coca-Cola’s longstanding support and excited about this latest phase of our partnership.”
