The Wilkesboro, N.C.-based Haskett Bros. Racing Top Alcohol Funny Car team will be racing with a cause at the Dollar General NHRA Four-Wide Nationals fueled by Full Throttle in Charlotte, helping a North Wilkesboro woman and her daughter who are facing trying times.
Tana Hayes’ daughter Baye was born with schizencephaly, an extremely rare brain disorder; in Baye’s case, only one quarter of her brain has developed. In addition, she was born with hydrocephalus and epilepsy and must be fed through a tube.
In and out of hospitals since birth, for the last 14 days, Baye has been in Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. Tana has had to leave her job due to the extreme care that Baye requires.
Haskett Bros. Racing has teamed with Team Baye to help this child and her mother. Interested supporters can visit www.teambaye.com to order a T-shirt or make a donation; 100 percent of all proceeds will go directly to Tana.
All T-shirt orders will include a Haskett Bros. Racing hero card signed by all members of the team.
