K&N extends Horsepower Challenge backing

K&N Engineering Inc. has signed a multiyear agreement to extend the company’s sponsorship of the K&N Horsepower Challenge through 2018. The K&N Horsepower Challenge is the longest-running specialty event in the NHRA.

John Force and the Peak Antifreeze and Coolant Funny Car team are in recovery mode after the 16-time champ damaged his new Chevy Camaro during qualifying last weekend at the NHRA Kansas Nationals. Tuesday Morning Crew Chief: Record weekend

Doug Kalitta, Matt Hagan, and Jason Line won the NHRA Kansas Nationals in a performance-laden weekend that included national e.t. and speed records at Heartland Park Topeka.

The popular Dragmaster Dart dragster chassis was easy to build and easy to drive and was championed by some of the top names in the sport including Roland Leong, Mickey Thompson, and Pete Robinson.
