So, I’ve got a ton to catch up on since I last wrote. I wish more of it was about racing, but in the meantime I’m making the most of my time away from the track. The majority of my time is spent working on sponsorship for next season. I’m having some very interesting conversations right now, so keep your fingers crossed for me.

In August I started moving back to Colorado. Since moving out of Atlanta at the end of March, I have spent time in Florida, Indiana, and Charlotte, but now it’s time to get out of the motorhome. I haven’t found a place to live yet, but it sure is nice being back where I grew up. I’ve gone hiking a couple times, been to 2 Broncos games and have gotten back into a regular workout schedule, which was hard to do living on the road.

Let’s see, what else has happened over the summer? I went over to Europe for a few days to work on a sponsorship deal. I love the Alps; we had a great time, and it was beautiful. I also spent a week in Hawaii with some friends of mine. We went zip lining, hiking, snorkeling, and, most importantly, just hung out on the beach. I’ve decided I’m not a boat person, though, it was a rough day out there on the water. I think I’ll stick to land.

I was at a Frank Hawley School in Reading to hang out with some friends that were going through his school. They brought in some Jr. Dragsters for the ones that were under 16. On the second day, they wanted to race each other, so I actually got in to one of them and made passes. Hey, it’s just one more thing to add to my resume, right?

I need everyone’s help. I’m trying to pick out a logo for racing. I entered a “contest” on logomyway.com and have narrowed it down to my favorite 5 or 6. I am putting them up on my Facebook page and want everyone to vote for which one they like. Go by there sometime in the next week to 10 days and tell me what you think.

Talk to you guys soon.
