Hagan scheduled for Full Throttle appearance before Norwalk event
Tuesday, July 03, 2012

As the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals prepares to get under way at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk this weekend, Funny Car driver Matt Hagan is teaming up with title sponsor Full Throttle Energy Drink for a promotional appearance prior to the sixth annual race. The day before qualifying begins, the reigning Funny Car world champion will spend time with his fans during a meet and greet at a local retailer on behalf of the series sponsor.

Hagan, driver of the Aaron's Dream Machine Dodge Funny Car for Don Schumacher Racing, will sign autographs and greet fans at Miller’s SuperValu at 505 W. Maple St. in nearby Clyde, Ohio, from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 5. Toledo rock station 104.7 WIOT will be on site to promote the event.

“I’m always excited to have the opportunity to interact with NHRA Full Throttle fans away from the racetrack and to be able to thank them for their support,” said Hagan. “We really appreciate Full Throttle Energy Drink for giving us the opportunity to do so during these appearances, and it’s always a good time.

“Not only will it be great to spend time with fans at a fun event, but I see this as an opportunity to meet many potential new fans and to get them excited about our sport.”

Fans attending this weekend’s Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals are encouraged to stop by the Full Throttle Energy Drink display, near the entrance to Nitro Alley, for the ultimate race-day experience.
