NHRA Drags: Street Legal Style presented by AAA
Race the strip, not the street
Whether you’re a hard-core racing enthusiast or just want to test your driving skills against others, NHRA Drags: Street Legal Style presented by AAA offers a fun and easy alternative to dangerous and illegal street racing. NHRA Member Tracks across the country allow anyone with a street legal car, a valid license, and proof of registration and insurance to race in a safer, controlled environment on the track.
The NHRA and its Member Tracks are dedicated to giving all aspiring drivers a place to race.
It’s impossible to predict who will race on the street – men and women of all ages put themselves and others in danger by choosing to pursue their desire for speed on public roadways instead of at the track.
NHRA and the thousands of legitimate drag racers who use their talent for speed wisely urge them to choose otherwise.
NHRA ‘RACE THE STRIP’ VIDEO
NHRA and its elite drivers take their ‘Race the Strip, Not the Street’ message directly to the public through a video featuring the NHRA Drags: Street Legal Style, presented by AAA, and the 140 NHRA member tracks around the country that host events designed to get illegal street racing off of public roadways and onto safer, sanctioned tracks. The video, featuring drivers Robert Hight, Bob Vandergriff, Del Worsham, Jeg Coughlin, Doug Herbert, Hillary Will and Brandon Bernstein, is available to everyone via YouTube.
