Beginning Tuesday, August 31, 2011 at the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals all vehicles competing in the NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series will be required to have a properly installed and operational Electrimotion Pro Mod Shutoff Controller Kit (part number SB001PM) and Electrimotion Shutoff Receiver (part number RF001). The Electrimotion Pro Mod Shutoff Controller Kit must be properly installed per the manufacturer’s instructions. Modification of or tampering with the Electrimotion Pro Mod Safety Shutoff Controller Kit prohibited. NOTE: Only the RF shut-off function of this system is required at this time. Additional research into properly shutting off all three engine combinations is required before NHRA will mandate the catastrophic engine failure functionality of this system.
